What is New on Disney+ August 2022

Ms. Marvel has only just come to an end, and Disney+ already has a new Marvel series in store for August. In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Hulk turns out not to be the only green powerhouse.

I Am Groot – Season 1

Before Baby Yoda stole our hearts, Baby Groot melted us with his cuteness. After Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy sacrificed himself to save his friends, the alien was reborn as a tiny plant that quickly matures. I Am Groot is a series of short films in which the mischievous toddler Groot keeps getting into trouble.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law – Season 1

Bruce ‘Hulk’ Banner (Mark Ruflalo) isn’t the only green giant in the Marvel universe. Don’t piss off attorney Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) either, because then she’ll turn into She-Hulk. That is not very useful in her field and she struggles very much with these violent changes. Fortunately, Jennifer can always count on the support of her friends and big green cousin Bruce.

Prey (2022)

Prey is the fifth Predator movie, but the story takes place before the other four parts. In 1719, the young warrior Naru (Amber Midthunder) discovers that a mysterious creature is making countless victims, but no one believes her. To protect her tribe from the alien threat, she fights alone against the Predator.

Lightyear (2022)

This time in Lightyear, Buzz Lightyear is not a toy doll that comes to life and experiences all kinds of adventures, but a tough space ranger who has to save the world from evil robots. The brave astronaut, who this time has the voice of Chris Evans, is helped by a colorful group of diverse figures.

LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation (2022)

Sometimes heroes need a vacation too, and in the LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation animation special, familiar faces from the Star Wars universe head to the beach. Finn has organized a vacation for his friends, but the outing doesn’t go as planned. Fortunately, Finn can count on the wise advice of three Force spirits, who tell him why it’s so important to relax every now and then.
